Build Community With Us this Year

FCCMP’s mission is to work in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger. Many people in our community face the challenge of not being able to access enough food for a healthy life. From individuals to families of 13, from children to seniors, from people experiencing homelessness to people having to choose between putting food on the table and paying the heating bill, food insecurity impacts people of all walks of life.

While we’ve been feeding people since 1984, we’ve seen the need for our services go up over time, not down. Over the last two years, at our Greenfield Meal Site alone, we have seen the number of meals served increase by 25%. At our Orange Food Pantry, we served double the amount of people than in 2021, now providing groceries and household staples to over 2700 individuals. We anticipate this trend to continue as a study done by the Greater Boston Food Bank in 2022 found that 1 in 3 people are facing food insecurity in Massachusetts.

As a community, we need each other- in general and especially during this trying time. When our neighbors come to us for support, we provide them with food and a sense of dignity. Building community, being a resource for one another, is what we are all about!

Your support enables us to provide consistent resources to those we serve. With your help, we know that we are better equiped to ensure that everyone is well fed and taken care of in our community.

Build community with us this year! Give now to become a "Neighbor Feeding Neighbors" and support our feeding programs across Franklin County and the North Quabbin region.
